Top Story   Dodge Circuit EV

As the spy shots our photographers snapped a few weeks ago previewed, Dodge has updated the front of its Lotus-based EV Concept car - and the automaker has given it a new, much more evocative name: Circuit. The new Dodge, presented with the automaker’s trademark crosshair face, also gets a new “Tangogreen” paint scheme.
It was just three months ago that Chrysler revealed a concept they called the Dodge EV: an electric plug-in based on the Lotus Europa. This “production-intent” prototype was driven, photographed and written about – but the yellow concept with black racing stripes didn’t quite carry over the Dodge styling

The summer season may be over, but that won't stop Ferrari from going topless. Because in Italy, the end of the beach season is superseded only by the end of the Formula One season, and this year the Scuderia took home the constructors' title. Collins and DeLorean envisioned a chassis produced from a new and untested manufacturing technology known as Elasti...

Mexico's First Exotic Sports Car

This beefy-looking sport is claimed to be Mexico's first homegrown automobile, created by the Mastretta brothers in Mexico City. The Mastretta MXT is powered by a mid-mounted, Cosworth-developed turbocharged 2.0-liter Ford Duratec, with 240 bhp fed through a 5-speed transaxle. The Mastretta's are claiming a 150-mph top speed and 0–60-mph in less than five seconds.

The car's light weight can be attributed to its chassis construction, which is based around aluminum extrusions, box sections and a carbon-fiber/aluminum sandwich floor; bodywork is fibergl...
