Top Story Italian Stallion - Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider |
|
The summer season may be over, but that won't stop Ferrari from going topless. Because in Italy, the end of the beach season is superseded only by the end of the Formula One season, and this year the Scuderia took home the constructors' title. To celebrate, Ferrari has unveiled the Scuderia Spider 16M at the annual finals at its Mugello circuit in northern Italy, the same place the company revealed the enhanced FXX Evoluzione last year. Check out the pics. This thing is sweet!
As we've already reported, the Scuderia Spider is a limited-edition roadster culminating the best features of the existing 430 Scuderia and F430 Spider, giving a lucky 499 customer

The Infamous DeLorean DMC-12
In October 1976, the first prototype DeLorean DMC-12 was completed by William T. Collins chief engineer and designer (formerly chief engineer at Pontiac). Originally, the car's rear-mounted power plant was to be a Citroën Wankel rotary engine, but was replaced with a French-designed and produced PRV (Peugeot-Renault-Volvo) fuel injected V-6 because of the poor fuel economy of the rotary engine, an important issue at a time of world-wide fuel shortages. Collins and DeLorean envisioned a chassis produced from a new and untested manufacturing technology known as Elasti...

Mexico's First Exotic Sports Car

The Mastretta's are claiming a 150-mph top speed and 0–60-mph in less than five seconds.
The car's light weight can be attributed to its chassis construction, which is based around aluminum extrusions, box sections and a carbon-fiber/aluminum sandwich floor; bodywork is fibergl...

The New and Improved Lamborghini LP560-4
Lamborghini has made quite a few changes to the newest version of the LP560-4. Aside from the obvious external changes such as the redesigned front and rear ends, the revisions to the suspension, powertrain and availability of carbon-ceramic brakes make for a significantly fiercer Gallardo.
Starting from the inside out, the LP560-4 features a heavily revised 5.2-liter 90-degree V-10 engine. Featuring direct fuel injection, the LP560 delivers more horsepower (552 bhp at 8000 rpm and 398 lb.-ft. of torque at 6500 rpm) using less fuel, thus producing less carbon diox...
